The full Board meets at least four times per year, although individual board members and board groups are involved in many other initiatives throughout the year.

The Board establishes short-life working groups to achieve some of its ambitions, providing a small focus group of interested members to tackle specific topics.

These include:

The panel is providing input to the current strategy for getting long term unemployed people back into work in the county.  They have been briefed by economist Prof Glyn Owen and other consultants working for EMRA as part of a scrutiny of current provision by the East Midlands Development Agency.

Employer Engagement
This panel is providing input to the development of a long term strategy for employer engagement on employment and skills in Lincolnshire and Rutland.  This includes ensuring all board members are equipped to support the recruitment of employers to the intelligence base and to encourage them to add their voice.

Information about topics covered at meetings and panels is regularly covered in our publications section.

The next Board Meeting is to be held on 13th December 2011

Panel dates will be announced as they are scheduled.

Employers are encouraged to propose topics to be covered at board meetings and panel sessions – please contact Clare Hughes, Project Manager for the Board
