The full Board meets at least four times per year, although individual board members and board groups are involved in many other initiatives throughout the year.
The Board establishes short-life working groups to achieve some of its ambitions, providing a small focus group of interested members to tackle specific topics.
The panel is providing input to the current strategy for getting long term unemployed people back into work in the county. They have been briefed by economist Prof Glyn Owen and other consultants working for EMRA as part of a scrutiny of current provision by the East Midlands Development Agency.
This panel is providing input to the development of a long term strategy for employer engagement on employment and skills in Lincolnshire and Rutland. This includes ensuring all board members are equipped to support the recruitment of employers to the intelligence base and to encourage them to add their voice.
